Your hearing aid is a device that can be finely tuned, and each patient will have their own specific requirements for their devices. By combining information based upon your hearing evaluation as well as your daily activities, our doctor will program your device for optimal performance.
During the programming, we will gauge the sounds you are hearing and the comfort level of the hearing aid. The sound should be clear and pleasant. We may do alternate testing to make sure the hearing aids are giving you enough sound where you need it.
Often times we might give you a short list of questions to better understand how your device is working, and we always encourage taking your hearing aids out into the world to get a true sense of how they work for you.
Clear Choice Hearing Clinic is committed to your success and we welcome follow up visits if you find that your hearing aids need additional programming. Keep in mind that it may take some time to get used to the sounds you were missing, and by working closely with your audiologist, you will get the most out of your new hearing aids.
